If your warehouse or logistics platform reads sensor data off a flat network, segment it this week.
The FBI and CISA warn that hackers are actively targeting industrial refrigeration and cold-chain monitoring systems worldwide, with potential food spoilage, equipment damage and fire hazards, as reported by BleepingComputer. Separately, The Hacker News reports that attackers have started trying to exploit a freshly disclosed OpenSSH flaw, tracked as CVE-2026, that can allow sign-ins to accounts with no password set, according to Previdian.
Both sit in the quiet layer under your application: a sensor feed and a remote login path. Neither one is something your product team reviews. A compromised setpoint reads like normal telemetry unless you alert on the change itself, and not just on the temperature.
I do security reviews of account and operational flows for logistics and marketplace platforms. I look at where sensor and device data enters your system, who can write to it, what gets alerted. A review like that takes days, not months, and you get cost and timeline within a day.
If you run a warehouse or delivery platform and cannot answer right now who can change a setpoint, message me and I will scope the review.
