what I walked into
An ecosystem that raised $25M needed the parts where trust is non-negotiable: the exchange and custody of user funds.
what I shipped
An exchange with order books. Custodial BTC/ETH wallets where deposits are state machines with confirmations — not events (there's a whole log entry about that). A fiat-to-crypto purchase flow with real-time KYC moderation, keeping compliance in step with signups.
status
Launched; the ecosystem went live on these rails. Custody taught me more about failure modes than any other work — every bug has someone's balance attached.
